2010 Bertani Amarone Vertical Pack 6In Wood Fco A complex nose of dried cherry accented by walnuts and coffee which lead to wild herb, spices and a floral note. A full-bodied palate with intense fruit, well-balanced with firm tannins which lead to a long, lingering finish. This pairs well with red meat, game, mature cheeses, but it is also perfect as a meditation wine at the end of a meal.

95 James Suckling: For a 2010, this is still very fresh indeed, showcasing sour cherries, red plums, citrus, orange peel and grenadine. Very linear and tangy on the palate, but the muscular tannins provide depth and power. Medium-to full-bodied and medium-chewy on the vibrant finish. Beautifully crafted and expertly shaped. Flag-bearer for the modern style of Amarone. Drink now.
