2015 Chateau d’Arcins Haut-Medoc- The Château d’Arcins has one of the first Haut-Médoc vineyards developed in 1300 by the Commanderie des Templiers. This historic heritage was bought in 1971 by the Castel family. The chateau, which was in ruins at the time, was completely renovated, as were the cellars, to develop the first circular wine cellar in the 1980s. In its center an assembly tank of 2030 Hl thus ensures a perfectly homogeneous quality. 20 thermoregulated stainless steel vats allow to control all the parameters of winemaking. Blend: 55% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon

90 Jeb Dunnuck – Located in Blanquefort, which is just north of the town of Bordeaux, Château d’Arcins has turned out a brilliant 2015 based on 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a great nose of ripe cherries, plums, spring flowers, licorice and toasted spice. This flows to a medium to full-bodied, ripe, rounded 2015 that has tons of personality. It’s just another hidden little gem in the vintage that I suspect sells for a song.
