2017 Montes Alpha M

This newly released vintage of our super icon Montes Alpha M impresses with an intense and very lively ruby colour. The nose offers its characteristic elegance and aromatic richness. Notes of liquorice and cherry are immediately apparent and as the wine opens up aromas of sweet chestnut nutmeg creme de cassis and tobacco appear all well-integrated with delicate toasted oak. The palate is beautifully balanced; medium- to heavy-bodied with smooth tannins. Cooked black fruit flavours appear and underscore notes of sweet spice which linger on the palate.
