2018 Robert Foley The Griffin
2018 Robert Foley The Griffin Like its namesake, this Griffin is a powerful combination of strengths. Super dark in color. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit marry with a hint of cedar. On the palate this ripe rich red blend is amazingly lively.
This midnight purple colored blend opens with black currant and black berry on the bouquet. On the palate, the wine is full bodied with bright medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth, dense and savory. Superb notes of cedar and espresso. This big boy would pair nicely with a well marbled grilled ribeye steak.
