2019 Heritage By Browne Pinot Noir
2019 Heritage By Browne Pinot Noir Dark violet to ruby red in color this pinot noir has aromas of Bing cherry, blackberry, pepper, tobacco, and forest floor on the nose. Flavors of cherry, apple, and blackberry are balanced with pleasant acidity and nice minerality resulting in excellent depth and concentration that lingers through to the silky, smooth, and supple finish. This wine tastes great now until 2028.
This Pinot Noir explodes with plenty of persistent and delicious flavors. This wine brings a generosity of black fruit, savory spices, and oaky aromas and flavors to the fore. Enjoy it with a flavorful, slow-cooked lamb stew.
Sonoma
A vast appellation covering Sonoma County’s Pacific coastline, the Sonoma Coast AVA runs all the way from the Mendocino County border, south to the San Pablo Bay. The region can actually be divided into two sections—the actual coastal vineyards, marked by marine soils, cool temperatures and saline ocean breezes—and the warmer, drier vineyards further inland, which are still heavily influenced by the Pacific but not quite with same intensity. Contained within the appellation are the much smaller Fort Ross-Seaview and Petaluma Gap AVAs.
The Sonoma Coast is highly regarded for elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and, increasingly, cool-climate Syrah. The wines have high acidity, moderate alcohol, firm tannin, and balanced ripeness.
