Kosta Browne Winery was founded in 1997 by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne. Our goal from the beginning was to produce world-class Pinot Noir from grapes grown in our home of Sonoma County. We are fortunate to live in a region which produces some of the finest Pinot Noir grapes on the planet. All of our wines are hand-wrought. From hand-picked, hand-sorted fruit to our gravity-fed bottling system, we make every effort to ensure the most gentle and highest quality production methods. Dan and Michael see every cluster of grapes coming into the winery and personally inspect each bottle of wine waiting to be shipped.
From the very beginning we were determined to produce fine Pinot Noir and make a living at it. Our dream was to make enough wine to support ourselves and eventually have our own winery. The dream is coming true. Through generous support of a few who share in our dream and an incredible amount of work, we are able to bring our wines to you.
Founded in 1997, Kosta Browne is one of North America’s most revered wineries, recognized for making some of the world’s finest Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.
