2019 Patrimony Cabernet Sauvignon
2019 Patrimony Cabernet Sauvignon Utterly fantastic Patrimony Cabernet. Deep and dark in the glass with a Nose full of blueberry jam, blackberry and violets. Super smooth mouthfeel rich with dark fruit, spice and cocoa. Finish of cassis, toast and coffee.
99 Jeb Dunnuck: The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon continues to show brilliantly. (I rated it 97-100 from barrel last year.) It has a quintessential Cabernet nose of pure crème de cassis, crushed stone, lead pencil, graphite, and tobacco that gains depth and richness with time in the glass. Deep, full-bodied, rich, and incredibly textured, yet still fresh, light on its feet, and beautifully balanced, this gorgeous Cabernet shows what’s possible with the variety from Paso Robles.

97 Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: The 2019 Patrimony is fresh and minerally at this stage. Still in barrel, it’s made entirely of free-run Cabernet Sauvignon and will be aged for 30 months in 1009 new French oak. Deep ruby-purple, it’s scented of blueberry liqueur, thyme, mint chocolate and dried herbs with savory wafts of soy sauce. The full-bodied palate is grainy and fresh, with a long, spicy finish. It has the detail and balance to allow it to pick up complexity as it continues along its evolution toward bottling.
