2019 began with record rainfall through winter which led to a mild spring and deep soil moisture. The growing season began on schedule, with bud break and bloom occurring within the average time frame and resulting in beautiful uniformity across the vineyard. As the year developed, 2019 progressed into a warm growing season, similar to 2013 and 2015. The pace continued at an average rate, with verasion occurring at the end of July.
