It emanates captivating aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, and a touch of vanilla. The palate offers flavors of dark plum, cocoa, and well-structured tannins, leading to a wine of depth and elegance, ideal for pairing with grilled meats or hearty dishes.

Aromas of baked cherry, ground spice and eucalyptus. Full-bodied with silky tannins. Juicy and succulent fruit on the palate. Well ripened and not overdone. There is good transparency here. Nice length, too. Supple. Drink or hold. 93pts Suckling

Silverado has developed international renown over the last 4 decades perched on the northwestern hills of the great Stags Leap District. Silverado was established by the Disney family in 1981. They proceeded to purchase six of the most famous vineyards in some of the key AVA’s for Napa Cab. Very rare in Napa, Silverado has had the same winemaker since the beginning. Winemaker Jon Emmerich has been there over 30 years. With his immense experience he knows every block of the 6 great vineyards intimately and it seemed only a matter of time before he put together a Cabernet of the very best specific Blocks that matched each other perfectly to make a great Napa Cab. The 2019 Silverado Cabernet Block Blend is the result and a great Cabernet it is. The Cab incorporated blocks M to T in Mt. George Vineyard (first planted in Napa in the 19th century) along with Silverado Vineyard Blocks A to T (home vineyard to the namesake winery) and lastly Block S from the legendary Oakville Station Vineyard (first planted in 1883).

In California, your status as an iconic winery is confirmed when UC Davis names a heritage clone after you. It means the vines on your property are so unique and important to the history of California wine that they deserve to be preserved for future generations. Only three Cabernet vineyards in the entire state have been important enough to merit that kind of preservation—and the Disney-Silverado Heritage Clone is the only one from Stags Leap.
