2020 Sei Querce Six Oaks Sauvignon Blanc Fay Creek

We discovered that Jesse is making wines for another winery Sei Querce Six Oaks which we have been able to get tiny amounts of two wines. We noticed that Jesse got 96pts Parker for his Sauvignon Blanc. We never saw one bottle of the wine. It sold out immediately and if I am not mistaken is the highest rated Parker Sauvignon Blanc from California for the vintage. When we tasted the wine Sei Querce Six Oaks, they had a Sauvignon Blanc made by Jesse Katz and it absolutely blew me away. The best Sauvignon Blanc I have tasted this year. The wine explodes from the glass, white and citrus fruits, concentrated but with superb uplifting acidity. This is world class. If you like white wine of any kind, you will love this wine. Tiny amounts available, intime for the Spring and Summer ahead. Killer sophisticated summer enjoyment.

Sei Querce Vineyards, Fay Ranch block. This wine has opens with aromas of lemon curd and tropical mango. Lime blossom follows, along with some bright grapefruit. On the palate you will find plenty of citrus, along with tropical fruit, and a beautiful hint of almond nougat and honey, thanks to the 13% Semillon that made it into our blend. This wine has a sophisticated texture and depth, but remains zippy and refreshing, which is how we like our Sauvignon Blanc.
