2021 Domaine Berthelemot Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Blanc is a white wine from the region of Beaune 1er Cru ‘Le Clos des Mouches’ in Burgundy. In the mouth this white wine is a powerful with a nice freshness. This wine generally goes well with rich fish (salmon, tuna etc), shellfish or mild and soft cheese.
A rather special single vineyard white Burgundy renowned for its finesse and breeding. Beautifully subtle notes of citrus fruits, honeysuckle, ripe pear, white truffle and spice (nutmeg). The oak is barely noticeable adding an overtone of grilled nuts and vanilla cream. If you can, hold off this vintage till 2025 – you’ll be richly rewarded.
