Exhibits aromas of citrus zest, white flowers, crisp melon and orchard fruit, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered palate that’s racy and precise, concluding with a long, saline finish. Marriages fruit and oak superbly, loved the intensity and the length.

We tasted this wine Thursday and one of our Wine professionals  turned round and said ‘Oh yes this is Meursault or maybe Chassagne Montrachet, how much $60 a bottle. This is definitely one of the best buys we have seen this year for white Burgundy. The wine is brought to us by one of the leaders in the Macon, Yannick Paquet, third generation making wines in this bastion of Chardonnay and one of the oldest family’s in the Macon. Macon is home to the great Pouilly-Fuisse and this wine is predominantly from Paquet vineyards in Pouilly-Fuisse. Thanks to the property’s higher elevation and the calcareous soil, there’s a beautiful lift and complexity that’s in perfect balance with a creamy richness. This is great terroir for white Burgundy!
