Pahlmeyer is one of the icons of Napa. The first bottling was in 1986. Napa winemaking royalty have made wine for Pahlmeyer, Randy Dunne, Bob Levy and Helen Turley. The vineyards were planted by the legendary David Abreu. Jayson Pahlmeyer is a legendary figure: Pahlmeyer was founded in 1986, by a desire to be great , with a dream to create a California Mouton, Jayson and his partners spared no resource to make this dream a reality. The result was the Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red one of Napa’s greatest red wines, a Bordeaux blend that has achieved the same kind of greatness as First Growth Mouton.
