The Band of Vintners was formed in 2014 by seven wine industry friends at a tasting group led by Dan Petroski. Their collective goal was to produce one exceptional wine that would provide outstanding value from Napa Valley, which became the guiding mission for Band of Vintners.
Today, the Band is led by two dynamic young winemakers, Evyn Cameron and Britt Richards, along with Master Sommelier Desmond ‘Des’ Echavarrie. Richards worked at Chappellet, Jordan, Keller Estate, and Peter Michael before launching her own consulting business, where she has most recently partnered with Echavarrie at Alta Nova Cellars to craft an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the wines for Band of Vintners. Together, they are committed to redefining what great wine can be. Their belief in sustainable practices and in producing wines that are accessible to everyone has inspired them to join forces and share their wines with the world.
Winemaker’s Notes: The 2022 Cabernet is next level! The fruit profile is “Dark & Dangerous” with sweet black fruit plus tobacco and clove notes that give this wine serious depth and complexity. The finish goes on forever with notes of currant and Madagascar vanilla. The balanced ABV makes it cool to grab a second glass right away and the quality of this wine is really tough to beat for the price tag. Grapes are 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
