Expressive notes of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry), blackcurrant, spices, and herbaceous garrigue. Well-balanced, mellow, and supple tannins with excellent aromatic length and a, mineral/smoky finish. Nose of violet pastilles, blackberries, smoked bacon, a hint of hot asphalt, ripe cherry, black currant, spices, roasted coffee, and vanilla. Expansive, beautifully balanced, and full-bodied with deep, rich fruit flavors like plum puree and blackberry paste. Notes of bitter chocolate, licorice, pepper, cured meats, and a smoky minerality are also prominent.
