Located in the heart of the prestigious Pomerol appellation, Château Saint-Pierre is a superb vintage from the right bank of the Bordeaux region. A beautiful reference of the appellation, for nearly 5 years, the new team of Château Saint Pierre led by the famous consulting oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt and Frédéric Massie have significantly improved the quality of this vintage. Château Saint-Pierre has a unique feature: it is located directly in the village of Pomerol, on the highest terrace of the plateau, sharing its exceptional terroir with the greatest Crus of the appellation, among which Le Pin, Clinet, Trotanoy and Vieux Château Certan. Purity of the fruit, brilliance of the delicate scents of violet and lilac, the nose is lively and radiant, evolving on the freshness of the aromas of small black fruits, enhanced by elegant spicy notes calling for licorice. Voluptuous and full of freshness, the palate presents this superb mouthfeel so typical of Pomerol, on a silky texture highlighted by the finesse of the melted tannins revealing a minerality with graphite notes. With its beautiful length in the mouth and its balance, this vintage displays the class of the greatest Pomerols. Drinking Window 2020 to 2035.
