Hourglass is one of the great Cult producers in Napa. Their wines have become hugely sought after. Just about all there wine is sold directly from the Winery where there is a waiting list. A tiny amount comes out East and we are lucky to get some to offer. They are famous for their great Cabernets that sell for way over $100 a bottle. The property dates back to 1976, eventually purchased in 1992 by Jeff Smith, son of the original owner Ned Smith.  In 1992, Jeff enlisted his family friend Tony Biagi, a veteran Napa Valley winemaker with extensive experience at some of the Valley’s elite wineries, including Duckhorn, Paraduxx, Plumpjack, and Cade.
