Kumeu River Winery is a family-owned New Zealand winery, established in 1944 by the Brajkovich family, who emigrated from Croatia. The winery is globally recognized for producing world-class Chardonnay, with wines often compared to those from Burgundy due to their elegance and complexity.  Today Michael Brajkovich, the founder’s grandson, runs the winery and is winemaker.
