The resulting wine is aged in oak a minimum of 3 years bottled unfiltered with another 10 months age before release. Bright ruby red colour with notes of blackberries and wild berries with spicy and mineral sensations. The palate is complex and due to the winemaking process of not crushing the grapes during fermentation Sagrantino’s typical foreboding tannins are softened resulting in great texture and balance.
