2015 Castiglion Del Bosco Brunello Di Montalcino Campo Campo del Drago is a Cru of Brunello di Montalcino with a great and strong personality, with a remarkable structure. The wine has an intense ruby red color, limpid and bright. The nose of this 2015 vintage retains the typical aromas of a structured Brunello di Montalcino: notes of dark berry fruit and undergrowth. On the palate it shows a beautiful acidity and minerality that supports and enhances it, accompanied by present and persistent tannins.

Pairs well with Pigeon Nostrale, Barberosse, Celeriac and Coffee.

98 James Suckling: This is the best Campo del Drago I have ever had. It really shows the unique character of the elevated single vineyard of 1.5 hectares. Black cherries and flowers with hints of sandalwood and tree bark. Always pure and beautiful. Medium to full body. Ultra-fine tannins. Lightly salty character to the cherry and berry flavors. Extremely long and beautiful. Drink after 2021.
