2019 The Vice Cabernet Single Vineyard Yountville  Boutique Operation focusing on tiny amounts of small batch wines from some of the finest single vineyards in Napa. This wine comes from one of the finest single vineyards in Yountville and wine drinks like its double to triple the price. The wine is made by Ryan Malek who is a long time industry insider. Each berry is hand selected that goes into the wine. The wine was aged in small French for 19 months. And the results are spectacular. Only 300 cases made. The wine has plenty of cedary, Christmas fruitcake notes intermixed with licorice, blackcurrants, dusty/earthy undertones and a touch of background smoke and oak. Its tannins are soft, the acidity low and the wine round, concentrated and compelling. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
