2020 Chateau Leoville Poyferre 750ML Garnet and clear in glass. Lightening at edges to ruby. Nose is wide open and inviting. Lots of forest floor and musky cellar (not haunted cellar, happy root.) medium bodied. Lots of stewed black fruit, cassis, forest floor, some mushroom funk, tangy balsamic. Plenty of tartness to offer balance. Elegant and just a treat all the way around.
