2020 Domaine Denis Mortet Fixin Vieilles Vignes Soothing upfront aromas with a focus on wild strawberries, ripe raspberries silver lined by a layer of oak/marzipan and earthiness with a soupçon of sour cherries. The palate shows a fruity, smoky character with wild strawberries and raspberries backed by a sliver of earthiness and french oak. The finish is drying and lasting. Using only natural yeasts, pumping-over and cap-punching are carefully controlled. Average age of Vines : 50 years old.
