This Puligny-Montrachet showcases ripe stone fruits, citrus, and toasted almond aromas. The palate is rich and textured with a long, mineral-driven finish. Pairs perfectly with lobster, roasted chicken, or truffle dishes.
From low-yielding 40 year old vines on the Meursault side of the appellation, this is fermented in 25% new French oak, with a year of barrel maturation on lees. A classic expression of Puligny with aromas of nectarine, acacia, fresh ginger and hints of pastry, medium-bodied with a long, stony finish.
Very complex on the nose with smoke toast lemon and creamy notes plus some white flower (iris). On the palate, beautifully balanced, smooth, perfect acidity and good length. Liquid gold
