Robert Parker stated that Beau Vigne is, “One of my favorite wineries” and “This winery is currently on a quality roll.” The wine comes from the great 2021 Napa Cab vintage: 95-98pts Vinous, 97pts by Wine Spectator and 95pts by Parker’s WA. The 2021 Beau Vigne ‘Cult’ Napa Cab was made to be exactly what its name prescribed, a Cult Napa Cab. Beau vineyard sits in a great position, high elevation, overlooking Pritchard Hill and Stagecoach Vineyard, home to some of the all-time greats like Bryant and Colgin. Some of Napa’s greatest winemaker have made wine for Beau Vigne, like Dave Phinney and Kirk Venge. Today the wines are made by Julien Fayad, who refined his techniques make wine in Bordeaux for greats Lafite Rothschild and Smith Haut Lafitte. In Napa he worked under great Michel Rolland and was director of winemaking for the renowned Philippe Melka, making some of Napa’s greatest Cabs. The wine is made from a selection of the finest barrels from this great terroir made by spectacular talent.
