This Cabernet totally over delivers. When I tasted the wine I was wanted to add it and when I heard the price we could offer it for. We backed up the truck and secured as many cases as we could. This is one of the best values in Cali Cab I have recommended in quite some time. Beau Vigne was founded in 2002 and have made great wine ever since. Previous winemakers are some of the best in Napa including Dave Phinney and Kirk Venge. Today the wines are made by Julien Fayad, from a family who owns Wineries in France. He worked at First Growth Chateau Lafite Rothschild and at Smith Haut Laffite. Moving to Napa he has consulted for some of the greats as director of winemaking for the renowned Philippe Melka. The Beau Vigne Heritage Cabernet 2022 is ridiculously good Cabernet for the money. Tastes like Napa Cab, drinks like Napa Cab in fact a top $50 bottle of Napa Cab. Why is it so reasonably priced? Like all great winemakers Julien knows where the great raw materials are. In this case he blended Napa vineyards with selected sites that he knew made great Cab from Sonoma and Lake County. The results are spectacular Cabernet that sells for $30 a bottle that we can offer you at $15.99. The wine got a huge 93pts by Decanter and fans of Napa style Cabs, this wine will blow you away for the money. Class and substance well above its price.
The Heritage North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is noted for its deep, dark fruit flavors like blackberry and cassis, complemented by a touch of oak. The wine has a structured body with firm tannins and leaves a lasting impression, symbolizing the iconic California Cabernet style. The Beau Vigne ‘Heritage’ bottling is sourced from several sites in Napa and Sonoma, including one near Vérité. Incredibly savoury, it leads with notes of black olive, liquorice, and bursts of blue fruit and violets. Full-bodied, it features wonderfully plump and sweet tannins and lots of juicy, crushed black fruits complemented by nuances of dried fennel and tobacco. Drinking Window: 2024 – 2030. 93pts Decanter
