Hoopes is in Oakville, their 10 acre estate vineyard neighbors one of the holy grail vineyards in Napa To-Kalon.To-Kalon has made more 100pt Napa Cabs than any other vineyards. Wines from To-Kalon are made the likes of Paul Hobbs, Schrader and Tor that sell for $300 to $600 a bottle. Other neighbors include Cardinale and Paradigm. This Chardonnay

Winemaker Notes: Welcoming you with the scent of warm toasted hazelnuts and crème brulée straight from the oven, this wine is a perfect expression of a warm weather Chardonnay. As the wine opens up in the glass, your first sip will greet you with juicy cantaloupe and just a hint of lime with a long-lasting finish of rich supple pears, toasted almonds, and bright citrus fruits.

The nose of under ripe banana, baked sugar cookies, and juicy apricots greet you as soon as you pour a glass of this wine. This wine has a big, lush mouth feel with an invigorating acidity. The finish welcomes notes of caraway seeds, sweet shortbread, and luscious yellow peaches.
