A Steal From A Great Vineyard. Save 33%
The Land Of Oregon Royalty Totally Under-Valued
The Yamhill-Carlton Ava makes some of the finest Oregon Pinot. Home to the region’s most expensive wine, home to Shea and Soter, comes a bargain for what’s in the bottle and a must for Oregon Pinot Noir lovers. From the excellent 2022 vintage, scoring 94pts by Spectator, with fruit profiles that are pure, expressive, rich, and vibrant. There’s plenty of freshness and definition to the wines. We don’t think we’ve ever offered a Pinot at this price from a more impressive vineyard than the Fir Crest Estate. The terroir behind it is one of the most impressive in the entire Willamette Valley. It has supplied grapes to a slew of incredible wineries: Walter Scott and Goodfellow, Championship Bottle and 100-point Napa legend Keith Emerson have all bought fruit. Marcus Goodfellow—one of Oregon’s great winemakers—compared it to Burgundy’s Clos de la Roche Grand Cru. The wine is a combination of rich fruit with electric vibrancy, concentration and beautiful aromatics for a site personality that powers out of the glass. There’s no way this wine should be this price.
