Chardonnay White Burgundy Chablis Premier Cru

White burgundy of great finesse and elegance, typical of the limestone terroirs of chablis. Made from the Chardonnay grape, this wine combines purity, minerality and aromatic complexity. Its pale gold color reveals an expressive nose of lemon, green apple, white flowers and gunflint, revealing the mineral signature of Chablis 1er Cru. On the palate, the wine is taut, precise and elegant, with remarkable freshness and a long, saline finish. Ideal with seafood, oysters, grilled fish, shellfish or poultry à la crème, this white Burgundy can be enjoyed now or cellared for 5-8 years to develop its complexity. The Durup family has been growing grapes in the Chablis region since 1560. Jean Durup, and later his son Jean-Paul, rebuilt the estate around the historic Château de Maligny.
